The
meaningless deal proceeds no where
The sale out of disgruntled individual shall not and
will not divert the course of our heroic struggle from achieving or
reaching the noble goal set out by our brave compatriots, that is the
Sidama people’s self-determination.
It is not the first or last time to see/hear member
of SLF or for that matter any other liberation movements sale out for
selfish feast. So, it did not come out as any surprise to hear that Ato
Gelfato Feka the former chairman of of SLF swapped the Sidama people’s
struggle for his personal gain, money. We denounce this zealous act with
the strongest possible term that betrays the interest of Sidama People.
Obviously, TPLF bought Gelfato to use him as
instrument/object to persuade its devious propaganda, though the majority
of Ethiopia know very well the Woyane’s naked lie.
However, we are not surprised of this phenomenon as
it is a historical fact that those who start a long journey not all arrive
to their final destination, but many drop out at different stages
(terminals) on their journey. So, Gelfato is not different from other
human species, though this individual's defection and forming unholy
alliance with TPLF regime is meant to undermine our democratic right, the
Sidama people’s struggle for self-determination, but on the contrary
despite of individuals defection SLF is determined to carry out its sacred
but exhausting mission with out Gelfato.
We believe that Gelfato is not only wrong but
totally blindfold because he is unable to notice that every body has
witnessed the Woyane’s numerous broken promises or unlimited awards or
offers of money/wealth would come to similar conclusion. So, no doubt that
Gelfato will end up with the same fate like many others before him who
betrayed their people’s noble ideals.
Finally, we would like to assure our friends and foe
that now SLF is more stronger than it was under Gelfato’s leadership.
